Richard Alloiteau: You misread the data about your 2nd point. It is 57% female and 46 millions more female monthly visitors on Facebook.
According to US data I found on GeoHive, there are 97 males in the US for 100 females. Therefore, overall, women have a higher % of participation in Facebook.

The perfectionnist in me...
1) Is there 50-50% women-men in the US? According to me there are more women than men in the world... Thus the real ratio should be THE reference line before classifying a site with equality, patriarchy, matriachty label.
2) Why is there 57% + 46% = 103% on Facebook? Can you be both male and female on FB?

Thanks a lot anyway!
