The iPhone and now the iPad will Push the Boundaries of Web design

moco loco, a website with an ipad flair

After covering what the iPad should do for magazines and newspapers, Fast Company published an interesting article on how five websites push the envelop of web design. We are entering a new era. I cannot wait for an enhanced experience. Imagine how more fluid browsing a site like MoCo Loco could be if you navigate it on the iPad. Discover who are the four other websites with an honorable mention.

  1. I agree. And in the meantime, its 1024×768 resolution will make it a perfect web platform (without having to redesign existing sites).

  2. Thx for the mention Kim! Looking forward to seeing it myself on an iPad. We put a lot of effort into the multitouch 2 finger scroll JavaScript in anticipation of the tablet… though I don’t know yet if it’s even supported! Works well on a Mac in Safari though…
